Curses, Curses

For about the last eight years I've noticed a pattern. January and February are by far the worst months of the year for me. It's really almost humorous to think back on the all the things that have happens in those two months. It's probably why New Year's is by far my least favorite holiday. I can sense the impending doom.

February 2002:
Kicked out of my parents house whilst still in high school. Of course this was a long time coming and certainly a result of my own actions. It ultimately is also the best thing that's ever happened to me, but at the time it was pretty stressful for a seventeen-year-old to go through.

February 12, 2003:
DJ and I broke up. The first time. This was really just the beginning of what I refer to as the Dark Ages of my life.

February 2004:
I moved back to Morganton. Yeah.

February 2005:
I find out that DJ got that skank ho Brittany pregnant.

February 2006:
Drew and I got together and broke up. A short but tumultuous relationship.

January/February 2007:
I am hospitalized for unexplicable swelling in my right arm. Of course now we all know that really that was happening is that my body is slowly lithifying from the inside out. I was also kicked out of my Graphic Design 3 class, putting my graduation date that much farther out of reach.

February 2008:
Maybe this year was okay because all I think of is my general misery related to going to school full time as well as working full time with very few people understanding what that exactly entails.

January/February 2009:
My surgery is performed to remove my rib. They almost killed me by puncturing my lung. When I got home I discovered I had to move out of my apartment in one week. I moved into my car/storage unit. I also signed a lease with a person I would later find out is the devil incarnate here in the Charleston area. That's actually giving her way to much credit. She's way too stupid to be the devil.

January/February 2010:
My car. Oh, my car. Of course the actually flooding/breaking down event happened in December, but I have spent the last two months arguing with people on almost a daily basis in an effort to get my car repaired and returned to me. I was able to see it the other day and lovingly watch it through a window, however I ultimately left without it. My poor lil Frankenstein Audi. Yes, I know Frankenstein was the doctor not the monster.

Even though this is a pretty whiny post, I will say that February is almost over. Also, because the most unpleasant things happen during these months, the best is yet to come, right?
